Aaiun Mission 2016

Aaiun mission accomplished

The Moroccan kingdom has an intricate plan of modernization and globalization about medical attention, what expose on the new health´s law with date(BO no 6344 de 19/03/2015).

Between the development of objectives of the “Stratégie Sectorial de Santé 2012-2016” we found:

  • Improved experience and practice with A&E medicine with professionalism, modernization and use of mobile resources.
  • In different intelligence interventions, SAMU Seville recognized the opportunity to form a bridge between the Morocco and our group, reinforced with the agreement established with Alter Forum International and Radjem (AFIR).

Our team provided primary healthcare to the people of Laayoune. Furthermore, we conducted an assessment to help patients with metabolic and hypertensives conditions to communicate with organizations that treat the local population. We also provided training on the functions of the skeletal muscle. Several of our team members also instructed local nursing schools on emergency response and CPR.

Amongst our institutional goals we managed to achieve the following:

  • Reinforced alliances with public, private and non-governmental institutions within the local health sector.
  • Explored the possibilities of starting a local emergency program within the Morocco´s  developing health program.
